Tech Pack Creation
Once we know what the basic item will look like, we get to work on the tech pack. This is the instruction manual for your design. We’ll source the materials, choose the colors, place any logos or graphics, and break down the costs. Our full service covers every aspect to ensure quality and consistency.
Size Grading
Once you’ve got your basic garment, we can help you scale it up and down. We know how to keep proportions while maintaining your beautiful design. Sweenie Manufacturing can produce a full size range, including extended sizing, that is consistent and true to your brand. It’s an art, and we’ve mastered it.
Design & Sample Development
Once the design is in place, we’ll get to work on samples. The experts in our pattern and sample room have many years of experience creating just the right look. Our team includes an in-house CAD artist, two skilled pattermakers, and a technical design expert.
We’ll take your custom design and handmake something special in a way that is replicable for larger production. You’ll be able to see exactly how the finished product will look as we refine the details. Sweenie’s team directly oversees and controls all product development and production. From start to finish, we ensure quality results.
At our sister factory in Bogotá, Colombia, established a decade ago, we have an amazing factory sample room. There are two experienced pattern makers and five dedicated sample sewers. We specialize in detailed handwork, with beaders and hand embroidery experts on staff. We offer in-house heat transfer capabilities for additional customization options.
We’ll ensure your line is exactly the way you want it before we begin manufacturing for consumer release.
Material Development & Sourcing
Sweenie Manufacturing has domestic and overseas fabric mills and trim partners. This allows us to offer a variety of base materials, including custom options. We can provide specialized fabrics for various purposes, including biodegradable and recycled options. This includes technical features for activewear, and special prints for swimwear. We also have partners that specialize in Pima cotton, French terry, fleece, as well as natural fibers such as hemp, organic cottons, and eco-blends.
In the swimwear category, we source performance fabrics like nylon spandex blends. We can provide chlorine-resistant and UV-protective materials. We also have Italian and luxury fabrics available. Our premium fabric provides durability, performance, and comfort.
